Kapolei Autism Center is dedicated to providing individuals on the Autism Spectrum (and other related learning deficits) with a space to build community. We strive to improve the quality of life for each client we serve through the ABA services we provide. Our dedication to our families is of utmost importance and we hold ourselves to a standard of providing quality services for each person that walks through our doors.

What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific, evidence-based discipline that strives to understand and improve socially significant behaviors. ABA examines the interactions between people and their environment to determine the effects the environment has on a person’s behavior (the “why” a behavior occurs). Behavior Analysts systematically assess an individual’s behavior and develop objective goals and a reliable measurement system to monitor progress. At Kapolei Autism Center ABA is used to teach new skills, improve performance across multiple areas, and decrease unwanted and challenging behaviors.
Requirements for Services
Kapolei Autism Center has the ability to support a variety of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) treatments. The manner in which we support your family varies based on your wants and needs. Below you will find our list of entry requirements:
Families must meet one of the two criteria stated below:
- Families (a) have a child between the ages of 2-23, with (b) a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and (c) has insurance coverage for ABA therapy through one of the medical insurance carriers listed below. Kaiser Permanente, HMSA, HMAA.
- Families (a) have a child at any age and (b) wish to pay for center-based ABA therapy privately.
